Last night, ~1 am, downtown. Wow. I can honestly say that I have never before experienced anything like that in my life. So much creativity, passion, sheer disregard for authority...
I just moved here from "Music City, USA". Let me tell you, Nashville doesn't even hold a candle to the music scene in Albuquerque! I can't wait to hear (and see!) more from Cobra//Group! Videos here. I'm an enigma; rare as a nihilism. |

Nice! Thanks for the video!
I totally failed on attending. Even after rigging accordion straps to a kick drum, digging out some soft mallets, and putting fresh batteries in my Pignose. I fell asleep at 11:30. Damn fatherhood! ____ n8 |

Damn! We coulda used a bass drum, too! The woman "helped" (she did most of it) me rig my little 3.5"x14" piccolo snare to the seat of a legless shower chair. Another definite big thanks to the lovely Ms. acecat13 for the volunteer videography. She had ankle surgery about a month ago and had to hobble around downtown in her Bledsoe boot, but she fought through the considerable pain (or maybe not, she's got some Percocet 10/325's) and swelling and managed to keep up with us. The #3 video is the one of the group talking to Abq.'s finest.

The Birdies would like to thank:
Acecat13/Sheila for marching with us despite our actions. The rare-cobras like Rob V. And Simfonik Mike for playing. And to the cholos who drummed on shit with us and got rowdy. piece. until next time. |
