While I admit to being an unapologetic DRD super-girly-fan, that show last night was seriously fucking amazing. (I do not recommend that The Posies have The Davies open for them again. There is NO WAY to follow them.)

Highlights:

1. Getting a burned copy of the soon to be released I Love Math cd (John and Jasons's side project).

2. Jack Never Crashes (my head almost came off its swivel).

3. DRD dedicating a song to Lousy Robot (again, the swivel thing). It was "I Regret the Day I Tried to Steal Daniel's Ego" and I may now die completely happy.

4. Going to bed safe in the knowledge that I will never again see Ken Stringfellow in a banana hammock. That . . . was fucked up.

The poises did a hell of a job of it!! Both bands were great. Pretty good crowd for a Monday. Thanks for the heads up Jim!

I have to say all the bands did a great job last night.
It was the best Mindy Set has sounded in awhile.

Did anybody get a look at Jill's left hand? It was totally fucked up. She told me she fell. My response was, "Yeah? How many times?"

I don't know too many that would have played given the ugliness of her injury. But I mean to tell you . . . she pulled that show off in Style. That is so rock and roll.
