So I got my tickets last minute for this show. 15 bucks a piece. I literaly got them 2 hours before the show but the show wasn't as packed as I thought it would be.

Once we got inside a band just started playing. They weren't on the bill so I don't recall their name. It was hard to figure out what language they were speaking. I think we finally decided it was French but there was a toss up between whether it was Spanish or not.

I was very impressed with the second band: Your Enemies Friends from LA. I highly suggest checking them out. The line up was two guitars, often three because the chick on keys would pick up the guitar every so often, bass and drums. Both the girls sang occasionally but one of the guitarists sang the most. They were really energetic and very together, it was just awesome.

The Locust came on next. I must say, if you stare long enough, their masks get really creepy. The keyboardist was sitting on the floor waiting for everyone to finish tuning and mic checking. I stared at him for a good 7 minutes and I couldn't tell if he was staring back or not. It's just creepy. They only played about 15 songs because of technical difficulties and the sound in the Rialto is shit so was pretty hard to hear what everyone was doing. I was just happy to see them in person though so it was worth it. (The drummer got spit on my arm OMGLol0rz).

Dillinger Escape Plan came on next. After fighting the pit for The Locust (which is the reason I went) we decided to hang out in the back where the chairs are. The freaking lights. Oh my god. How freaking annoying. I thought I was going to have a seizure with all the flashing and moving. It looked like a rave and I was a little let down by the new singer. We left after about 5 songs. They played very tight though. It was an all around pretty good show.

Check out Your Enemies Friends.

I didn't feel like making the drive. I did go up and watch Mastodon in Abq, though, and they were really good.

I'm gonna go out in this world and get everything I can get. I mean, I'm gonna be rich, super rich. I mean, I'm gonna be spending money like a chimp in a beat-off contest.
