Swervedriver at the Marquis Theater in Denver - 5/23/08. Great show, cool venue. They confiscated my camera at the door, then I got it back with the promise to security that I wouldn't shoot the audience or video of the band. Adam Franklin is King of the whammy bar! Bunch o' guitar geeks outside after the show talking about his effects -- really, good work. But the drummer, Jez Hindmarsh, blew me away. He broke 2 snares that night. No Swervedriver music for sale at the merch table, only shirts, buttons and a cool poster for their '08 tour. They did have lots of solo project cds of Adam's. I picked up "Bolts of Melody" and it's good.

I am so jealous right now. One of my favorite bands.
