My day gig is as an AV tech, and I had the absolute honor of running sound for Bernadette Seacrest and Her Yes Men at Sheraton Old Town last thursday. For anyone who hasn't heard her, your mission in life should be to hear her. Absolutely fucking BEAUTIFUL voice, GREAT band, and very professional attitudes. (They were all really fucking cool to me, and I think they were happy.) Today, (sat. 13th) is my last day at the hotel, so I'm not necessarily giving the hotel a plug, but GO SEE HER!!! She's performing (while the weather's good) out in the Spanish Gardens every thurs. night, from 8:30 to 10:30. It's a gorgeous setting. They have a bar set up outside, so one can drink. These shows are 100% free. No cover. I'm trying to work out a deal with the hotel so I can run sound for her more often. All I have to say is WOW!!

I've been meaning to see her there all summer long -- it must be gorgeous with her in the garden and all. I'm going to go for sure now!

Simfonik Mike is right. If you have not seen her and the "Yes Men" you need to go... they are hot shit and real Albuquerque jewels.
