I'll start backwards. We played with Grinkai up in Santa Fe at W21 last night (Saturday). I would say that there were about 100 heads inside and out and let me tell you, the kids in Santa Fe are made out of rubber! There was a pit from the time we started to the time Grinkai finished! It was SICK!!! Good times indeed! The day before, we played Launchpad. It was kind of a last minute booking, and 5pm on friday, we still only had three bands. I e-mailed a band about coming down to open the show with no expectations on our end. We went to dinner and when we came back, this band had responded in the affirmative. So we'd like to say a huge thanks to...UNIT 7 DRAIN!!! That's right, U7D came down and jammed with us!!! And holy shit, they tore it up! The "metal" crowd REALLY liked them. We felt incredibly honored to be playing with these cats and we were blown away that they agreed to play about 2 hours before show time! Thanks Harry, Ella et al.!!!

First of all, I want to thank you for inviting us to play with you guys. We had a blast, and everyone was so awesome to us, that we would totally do it again. I think that we get lumped into somee sort of genre, and then end up playing with a few bands all the time. So it was really great for me to play for a totally different crowd, with totally different bands than we are used to playing for/with. I have to commend everyone who was at that show for showing so much enthusiasm and excitment. It really stood out for me in contrast to the restrained head bobbing and polite clapping that I see so much these days. So thanks to Simfonik Plague, for the show, and also for being such great people on this board.

Additionally, I would like to add props for no one pointing out that our band was wearing more eyeliner than any of the other bands' girlfriends. Wink
