Man this band kicks such ass. I was turned onto their music maybe 6 months ago by friends. They remind me of instrumental bands like Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky, Tarental, etc. with monstruous dynamic shifts and swells from the most quiet delicate interludes that build into blistering mind numbing razor sharp progressions hitting on numerous emotions. MONO does this VERY well and it was so very cool to see them do it live.

Oh yeah, they're quite possibly the loudest band I have ever seen live. They're right up there with AppleseedCast. The distortion they were running through those massive marshall stack would make your brain leak out your nose ... but keeping this beautiful quality the whole time. It was truly an inspirational show and as band you should seriously not miss if you ever get a chance to see them again being that theyre from Japan n' all.

Phenomenal show.

Yeah I heard them about 6 months ago. Never thought I'd get to see them in such an intimate setting. I was grinning like an idiot the whole time watching them recreate tunes like "Halo."

And their new CD is even better than their last. It was like watching four chamber musicians. And then afterwards they were so cool and nice.
