So after we gorged ourselves at the RockSquawk night out at Buca di Beppo's (now one of my favorite italian places), we headed out to the Atomic Cantina to check out Lousy Robot. I think I can speak for everyone when I say it was a really good time. Lousy Robot is so much fun and they will dazzle you with their high-tech light show. They kinda remind me of the Pixies (I intend no offense with that comment...I like the Pixies.) We then moved over to Burt's Tiki Lounge where Old Man was setting up. Dude. Please see this band. At first, I didn't think I was going to like them...the first few seconds of their set came off as messy and loose. But then I really REALLY got into it. You HAVE TO watch their drummer. Dear god. !! AND THEN Fireball Ministry hit the stage and rocked the house. I think it's safe to say every head in the room was banging to these guys. The bass player was hot. I think going to a show after dinner should remain a regular feature of the Rocksquawk Night Out.
I caught my second wind and got the pictures up. You can check them out here: Rock Squawk's Bands Night Out! It's not exactly my best work but it'll have to do.
I didn't get any pictures of Old Man or Fireball Ministry By the time I got to Burts I was sick of lugging my camera around and was more concerned with consuming booze What can I say? I'm a rockstar... Enjoy!
