I said gotdam!
Tons of people. Killer set guys, tight as hell. You certainly worked your asses for it and deserved the success.
Thanks for inviting YYBP!
Have fun with your hangovers! I'd write more, but I'm kind of floating through mine.
Oooh. Anesthesia killed it, too.

band goes boom

The support from everyone for live music is truly extraordinary. That place was god damn packed and it remained consistent all night. Thanks to Ya Ya, Anesthesia and SuperGiant (Who Is On Injured Reserve) for everything. SuperGiant couldn’t play that night due to the bassist losing a battle over a snowboarding excursion. As much as we wanted SuperGiant to play the other bands stepped up and played longer sets for us to fill the gap.

Thanks to Burt's Tiki Lounge for putting up with our shit and allowing us to destroy their place. The night was a total success and we sold a fuck ton of CD's/Merch/Bar. I could not have asked for a better night! Thanks to all of our LB fans who came out to support us!

Kids, let this be a lesson, don't be a jackass and go snowboarding on the day of a show!

We were SuperBummed that we couldn't be a part of that show. We all thought about kicking Kyle's ass (esp. our drummer) but figured he probably felt worse about it than anyone. The place was jam-packed and the vibe was great. It was a kick-ass night and we had a lot of fun just getting drunk, etc and enjoying the music/friends.

Always good to see a band fresh outta the studio - I noticed a few parts were different, and the compositions have definitely taken on a new depth. Great set, guys! Good energy, flow, and sound! Haven't wrapped either side of my brain around the CD yet, but it's got a highly professional look & sound to it - I've seen/heard plenty of CDs released by labels both major & indie that fall far short of this effort. For such a young band, Left Brain has already come a long way, and they deserved all the cheers they got this night for a job well done.

Anesthesia was in good form, blasting through a strong set of metallic crunchiness that harkened back to the glory days of classic Thrash. Last time I saw these guys, I think they were fresh outta high school - now they've been together 10 years! I feel old.

Ya Ya Boom Project was the odd band out stylistically, having a poppier, postpunk sound, but they ably opened the show with an energetic set of catchy, hook-laden numbers and got the crowd warmed up. Another local band I haven't seen for awhile has shown their mettle once again (even if they didn't show much "metal").

I'd been looking forward to seeing SuperGiant's set, but this obviously did not happen. The remaining bands stretched their sets to fill the gap, but nevertheless, I missed the expected set of SG's psychedelic fuzzrock. Get well soon, Kyle.

Thanks for the support everyone. It was cool to see a lot of familiar faces and old friends of LB come out of the woodwork for this show. This is a great music community.

It was a must see from start to finish. If you don't have the CD get it.
