Your Music Is In Odd Time Signatures![]() |
We’d like to thank Shoulder Voices for jumping in on the last minute to open up the show for us. We really enjoyed your set. Sunday is a tricky day to play but there was a great crowd to support not only the local bands but to also support Djioez from Switzerland. Those guys are very humble, thick accented and beer drinking rocking dudes. Very good set and all trained musically. Lots of technical stuff.
We closed off the night and blew the fucking walls back into Burt’s Lounge. We got great reaction from everyone, great written reviews and made new fans/friends. Thanks to everyone who came out on a fucking Sunday night to support live music. |

Cheers to Left Brain! I've never played a better Sunday night show. I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen LB to do so. Even if you have some sort of unnatural adversion to metal, these guys are beyond such a restrictive (and burdensome)categorization.

Fun night with the Swiss metallists. Those cats had tons of skill and it was interesting to see how their sound seemed to have a different cultural backdrop to it.
SV were excellent and brought in some special guest rabbits for their show. Some sweet jams in their set and I was surprised by their drummer, who had a few extra tricks up his sleeve. A few videos are up on the LB myspace. My favorite from this show is probably "The Waste" with a jazzy transition at the end. |
