As it has come down, the wording now says that bars that derive 50% of their revenue from alcohol sales at all-ages shows will not be allowed to have all-ages shows.
He will run us over if we do not make our presence known. WE ALL NEED TO ATTEND THIS SUMMIT AND DEMAND TO BE HEARD - WE NEED TO MAKE NOISE, LITERALLY!!!
This is not the time to sit around and let someone else go to battle for you - it is up to you to save ABQ's music scene and the way to do that is to show up at this summit. I can only do what I do, but I need all 500 people who are on this list to show up and let the people of ABQ know that we will not sit by and let the Mayor take away our all-ages venues. I cannot stress to you enough how important it is for you to show up and be heard.

Also the city council is meeting for the last time on Monday 6/20 at 4pm in the basement of City Hall.
Again, you need to be there and show the city that we are not going to let others decide our fate. This is an election year and we really, really need to show our presence in order to be taken seriously. There is nothing else I can do, it is entirely up to you now to choose the fate of the ABQ music scene. I want to see 500 people show up at the city council meeting and make the biggest stink they've ever seen!

I'm willing to do everything in my power to keep our music scene alive and healthy and available for all-ages shows, but I CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT YOU. If you don't show up, there's no reason for me to fight for a scene no one cares about. Things are getting serious here and it requires EVERYONE to get involved.

If the mayor has his way, we have only ourselves to blame.
