SWM YIT needs folks' help!

youth in transition is broke. we need your help. we
are still serving albuquerque's young stree kids, just
on a smaller scale. case-mangement, phone message
services. mailing address. referrals. payee services.
advocacy for the "cause" and for the individual
client(s). education to the public. clothing and food
boxes if available. transportation when we have the
money. crisis-intervention. i'm sending this e-mail to
ask for everyone's help.
maybe $10 (whatever) donation (one time or a
continuing commitment). food and socks. free office
items (paper, ink for printer, printer paper).
non-perishable food and bottled water. gas vouchers or
bus tokens. anything on this list would be very
appreciated as well as intersted board members. free
copy services. we want to do much more for this very
under- or unserved population, but right now we are in
"survival" mode till we have more $.
if you can' help, please send this e-mail, our plea to
other people on your e-mail list. we are
tax-deductable, 501(c)3.
i'm writing those i know and those that maybe won't
even remember or have never heard of YIT.
in 1995, Youth in Transtion, we started to serve those
young people who are on the sreet, those who were
"falling trough the cracks". in this society,it shoud
be unaceptable to be alone, to be homeless, and to
live daily to fear and dispair.
yit, even though, it in dire straights, remaind
dedicated to every single lost and hurting street kid.
we believe it is a crime for any human being to be
hungry and to have a roof over their heads. we refuse
to turn our backs to injustice.
please help us better serve (and expand services), to
help these hope, to save more live. this city has
"waged a war" against the homeless and its got to
stop. please call if you need more information.
