There are many underwater things happening in your town. Every night some might say. Anything from 4 people getting together literally underground or dozens getting together up on somebody's roof. Here are a couple things that will get you started if you don't know already:

"A recycled newspaper dispenser in the alley between the 200-blocks of Cornell & Stanford, chained up to a powerline.
This means that the alley concealing the Freek Box is PARALLEL to Cornell & Stanford, and can be accessed from Silver or Lead.Inside, one can find a wealth of oddball media- books, zines, stickers, "drugs", propaganda, all manner of audio/video formats, bandaids, flyers for upcoming events or material for your next collage. People are encouraged to take and/or leave material as they see fit."

This is where I get all of my recorded local music.


- Radio Tomada

If you live downtown or UNM area or even further, Tune in every Thursday to 96.9FM from the early afternoon until late night to HEAR Subterranean ABQ.

This is another method where I hear new things.


- The Caterwaul List or the Sssk list
